Job Description has been engaged to recruit a corporate security leader who speaks fluent Spanish and English to provide executive leadership over 20+ facilities in Latin America countries. This role is with a leading US corporation that has business operations and plants located worldwide. This role interacts extensively with key customers in Latin America as well as law enforcement in the US and in Latin America. Overall duties in this role include: Identifying security threats,opportunities, weaknesses,program threats and areas for security program improvement. The director will deliver security strategies to include risk mitigation, fraud prevention, brand protection and other activities that support the business. In this role,a Director of Global Security will: Provide alignment between business risks and mitigation strategies as required by the business. Partner with departments including Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Legal, etc. Work closely with department leaders to keep them informed of security conditions Develop and implement security procedures, programs and specialized services to ensure the company’s people, assets, information, brand and reputation are protected from injury, damage or other forms of loss. Provide executive protection to the CEO and other senior executives during their visits to Latin America. Provide oversight to business events and conferences. Provide support to the global aviation department for pre-trip planning as well as providing security during trips to protect passengers, crew and corporate aircraft. Ensure that security programs including C-TPAT, brand protection, fraud protection, travel security and global security standards are implemented and updated throughout Latin America. Provide support for physical security assessments and recommend changes in procedures or equipment needed to assure proper security. Conduct and/or coordinate investigations of thefts, frauds or other incidents involving threats against employees or loss of assets. Develop and maintain a program for the assessment of international crime trends and business and geo-political risks that might impact the business. This role is open to US citizens and citizens of Latin American countries. Relocation expenses will be provided for the right candidate to move to Dallas, Texas. Job Requirements

REQUIREMENTS: A BA/BS is required. A Masters degree is preferred. Candidates must demonstrate significant international experience that includes a concentration of experience in Latin America. Fluent Spanish and English communication skills (verbal and written) are required. This means native-level Spanish verbal and written communication skills are required. Candidates must demonstrate 10-15+ years of experience. While experience in law enforcement, intelligence or a federal agency is appreciated, candidates must demonstrate significant multi-national corporate security experience either in lieu of or in addition to a background in law enforcement. Must have demonstrated experience delivering international security with a focus on Latin America. Certifications such as the CPP, CFE or CPISM are preferred.
